Since becoming a father and returning to the Broadway stage, Ricky Martin is not livin’ la vida loca – and he is sharing it with everyone. In an interview with the magazine The Advocate, Martin talks about his experience with fatherhood, alongside his partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella, and how his twin boys are taking on polar-opposite personalities.
“Valentino is mister peace and love. He loves flowers and nature,” said Martin comparing him to his twin brother Matteo. “He’s more alpha and a leader…He tells his brother what to do and what not to do.”
Martin goes on to say that with the help of his partner, a stock broker, he is able to bring stability to his toddlers.
“There’s a lot of love and a lot of communication. He’s guided by the approach I take with the kids, he imitates it perfectly,” said Martin, who in the past has kept his relationship out of the spotlight. “I think he’s so sexy. He’s very smart. That is such a turn-on. He leaves the house every day in a suit and tie and that is so sexy.”
His appearance in the TV show “Glee”, earlier this season, marked the beginning of the 40–year–old’s return to acting. Martin is now embarking on the role of “Che” in the Broadway production “Evita.” The busy pop singer added author to his repertoire last fall with the release of his tell-all memoir, titled “Me,” on his experience dealing with his sexuality.
