Victor Cruz’s salsa moves to be featured in new Madden NFL ‘13

Victor Cruz burst onto the scene last season helping lead the New York Giants to a Super Bowl win. But now it’s clear that the Puerto Rican’s star has arrived after the latest incarnation of EA Sports franchise video game Madden NFL ’13 is including his trademark touchdown celebration salsa moves.

In the short Youtube clip posted by EA, the animated version of Cruz can be seen breaking it down after a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers. The virtual version is a little more stiff than the real-life Cruz but fans will surely get a kick out of the inclusion.

The announcement comes less than a week after it was revealed that Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow’s famed “Tebow-ing” – where the very devout Tebow kneels down to pray – will be included as well.

As for Cruz, his video touchdown against the 49ers may have been chosen because of his breakout performance against them in the NFC Championship game where he caught 10 passes for 142 yards.
