J.Lo teams up to create Dancepad app

Soon you will get to dance like Jennifer Lopez with your fingertips.  The dancer-turned Hollywood superstar teamed up with mobile entertainment start-up Moonshark to introduce a finger dancing game app for the iPad, said The Hollywood Reporter.

DancePad will feature 100 levels, the first 20 will be free and after that users will have to pay $2.99 for the game.  Users will have skillfully jump, slide and jive around the dancefloor with their fingers, which is no easy feat.

Now, you will not be hearing Lopez belting out tunes for the app, since she is just signed up as the producer, but you will hear soundtracks which include Mayer Hawthorne, Vintage Trouble and the Bangerz.

Lopez will be involved in the creative and marketing of the app, told Moonshark CEO Matt Kozlov to the Hollywood Reporter.

“When we first showed the game to her she was hooked,” said Kozlov in a statement. “And now she’s got everyone from her backup singers and dancers to her own kids playing DancePad.”

Moonshark was launched by Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and Qualcomm and the goal is to reach out to CAA talent pool and hire developers to create other apps.

The next app to launch will be a comedic entertainment app with YouTube’s Philip DeFranco along with Mention Mobile.

Lopez is one savvy businesswoman!
