After months of rumors and speculations, the truth comes out.
Actor Eddie Murphy, 51 and BET’s “106 and Park” host Rocsi Diaz, 28, are a couple.
Saturday night at CEO Debra Lee’s pre-BET Awards celebration the couple arrived hand in hand on the red carpet.
The two arrived in matching shades of blue outfits and posed for the photographers looking very close and happy.
Rumors swirled that the couple was dating in June when Diaz accompanied Murphy and his kids on a family vacation in Maui, Hawaii.
In May, the couple was seen in Los Angeles having coffee together but has kept their relationship very low-key.
Diaz who is moving onto new ventures, announced in May that she was leaving “106 and Park.” She might need her new beau’s help as she pursues her new acting career according to the New York Post.
Murphy has eight kids from previous relationships. Five of them are from ex-wife Nicole Mitchell, a son with Tamara Hood, a son with Paulette McNeely and a daughter with former Spice Girl Melanie Brown.
His most recent ex-girlfriend was singer Toni Braxton, 44. His ex-wife Mitchell is scheduled to appear in VH1’s upcoming series “Hollywood Exes,” so we’ll have to see what she says about the new couple.
