Sofia Vergara was recently spotted on the set of “Modern Family” rocking a cute baby bump, but it looks like the 40-year-old Colombian actress has had babies on the brain for a while.
In an interview published in the September issue of Allure magazine, Vergara reveals that she’s open to the possibility of having more children.
“I would think about it. I can have more nannies. So it wouldn’t be something crazy for me. But I wouldn’t have four. Maybe one is fine,” she told the magazine.
Vergara, has a son, Manolo from her marriage to Joe Gonzalez, whom she married at just 18 years old in Colombia. Manolo, 20, is a budding filmmaker who made headlines recently when he published a video confirming his mother’s engagement to on-again, off-again boyfriend Nick Loeb during her 40th birthday celebration in Mexico.

The Allure cover girl – who recently topped Forbes highest paid television actresses list with a whopping $19 million earned over the course of the last year – had previously stayed mum about the possibility of having more children. But could the change in Vergara’s attitude been the deciding factor in her engagement to Loeb?
The pair had briefly split in May reportedly because Loeb eagerly wanted children – a factor that Loeb reportedly worked through with the help of friend and TV personality Donny Deutsch.
“He [Loeb] was actually at my house and he was talking to her on the phone and I was a man behind the scenes,” Deutsch spilled during a hosting gig on Access Hollywood Live last month. “Truth be told, we were talking about kids and they were talking about whether to have kids or not and I said, ‘You’ve gotta say that that’s a price of entry, that’s a deal breaker; you want kids… and I don’t care how much you’re in love with her, if you want kids and she doesn’t, that’s a deal breaker.”
“Obviously that’s something that went into the deal and it sounds like it’s good.”
In her interview with Allure magazine, Vergara said she’s not shy about wearing sexy clothes. “You grow up not thinking about it—it is part of your life,” she says. “Dressing sexy, or doing your makeup in the morning, or dancing and singing and doing all that—you don’t even question it,” she says. Should Vergara decide to get preggers sometime soon, she’ll have to take into consideration the possible toll on her famous curves, which she told Allure she finds ideal at 130 lbs. But baby or not, Vergara divulged to the magazine, age has taken somewhat of a toll.
“I can’t do it without a bra. It’s not a pretty sight anymore,” said the star, who disclosed she wears a generous 32F-sized bra.
