Pitbull and Jessica Alba are among the hottest Latino stars right now and apparently Democrats think so too, booking the pair to headline at a party that will end the Democratic National Convention festivities in high style.
Priorities USA Action, Majority PAC and House Majority Pac will throw the party (called Super-O-Rama) following President Obama’s acceptance of the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 6.
Alba – an action film actress and entrepreneur – will host the event alongside hubby Cash Warren. Pitbull – a global superstar best known for hits like “I Know You Want Me” will perform as the event’s musical entertainment alongside pop group Scissor Sisters.
Alba and Pitbull join pint-sized starlet Eva Longoria in their support of President Obama’s reelection this November. Longoria, one of President Obama’s national campaign co-chairs, has been stumping faithfully on behalf of the President since her 7-year run on “Desperate Housewives” ended in May.
