Sesame Street holds open casting call in search of a new ‘Amigo’

For the first time in the shows’ 43-year history, “Sesame Street” held an open casting call, to search for the perfect Latino actor to join the puppet family. Casting directors were looking for a Latino actor who spoke Spanish and English fluently to make them a permanent cast member for the 44th season. NBCLatino’s Ignacio Torres followed a few actors who are hoping they will soon get to call Sesame Street their new home.
