Strong winds will be felt in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico as Tropical Storm Isaac approaches the Caribbean. The storm is expected to strengthen and become a hurricane by tomorrow. Mexico announced this week that they will drop tariffs on egg imports in an effort to reduce the price of the product in the in country.  Protesting students called for at least 14 rallies to happen simultaneously in the city of Santiago to continue their fight for education reform. In Colombia, President Juan Manuel Santos asked his 16 member cabinet to step down in what many are believe it’s an effort to increase his approval ratings. And Egg prices skyrocketed after an outbreak of avian flu hit Jalisco earlier this summer.
