In Mexico, leftist leader Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said he refuses to recognize Enrique Pena Nieto as Mexico’s Next president after the electoral court rejected vote-buying allegations against the PRI party.  Also in Peru, dozens were injured and one protestor died after police clashed with a group of activist who were demanding the construction of an international airport near the capital city of Lima. And President Felipe Calderon announced the revision of a law that would compensate victims of violence in Mexico. The law will require funding from the federal government to support victims of brutal gang violence.
