A powerful seven point six magniture earthquake rocked Costa Rica today rattling buildings and cutting power to some areas of the capital. And in Colombia, FARC leader Rodrigo Londoño said in a video statement the rebels will continue to negotiate with the Colombian government until peace is achieved. Negotiations will begin in Norway next month. And in Mexico the Navy arrested the suspected leader of the gulf cartel Mario Cardenas Guillen known as – “el gordo” in Altamira. the arrest comes just months before President Felipe Calderon ends his term. In other news, Shakira’s ex-boyfriend is suing the singer for $250 million dollars claiming he left his career behind to follow her on tour.
