Last night’s La Catrina Fashion Show at the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago featured all-female Mexican-American designers. The show, named after the famous Day of the Dead icon, featured top Chicago-based designers, Claudia Urrutia, Lilia Vega, Elizabeth Lara, and Elda de La Rosa.
Elda de la Rosa told Gozamos, “I always look to the past for my inspiration, I’m not a modern designer, I’m not a trendy designer, I’m one that loves the classics and I love for my work to look timeless.”
