Mexican authorities continue their search for 131 prisoners who escaped earlier this week. Three captured fugitives deny escaping through a tunnel, as previously suggested. They claim they walked out the main gate with help from prison guards. In Venezuela, lightning sparked a fire at El Palito oil refinery on Wednesday night. The bolt hit two storage tanks, starting the fire. There were no deaths or injuries. In Bolivia, three people are dead on Wednesday after heavy rain caused massive flooding. The city’s poor drainage systems left Santa Cruz in a state of emergency. Clean-up efforts are underway. And Colombian singer Juanes launched the Right to Dream campaign in Bogota. The aim is to combat child trafficking, criminal recruitment and violence against children.
