Canadian miner Goldcorp is working with local communities in Central Mexico to create sustainable mining.  Seventy-two percent of the mine’s employees come from nearby communities in Zacatecas. Over a thousand police officers are patrolling the suburbs of Mexico City to combat a recent rise in drug-related violence.
