Much has been made about Baena’s striking likeness to father Schwarzenegger in the aftermath of the scandal. In 2011, Schwarzenegger came clean about an affair with Baena, a former housekeeper in his home, which occurred over 14 years ago.
According to reports, Schwarzenegger waited one day after leaving office as California governor before confessing to the affair to wife Maria Shriver in 2011. The 65-year-old former body builder describes the affair and its consequences to his family in his new 624-page autobiography, “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story.”
Joseph Baena, now 15 years old, was born just one week apart from Schwarzenegger’s son Christopher with Maria Shriver, a television journalist who co-anchored broadcasts on CBS and NBC before marrying Schwarzenegger in 1986.
Schwarzenegger has four children with ex-wife Shriver. It is unknown whether Baena, who was 13 years old at the time when he found out about his father’s identity, has a relationship with his famous dad.
Mildred Baena, who worked as a housekeeper-assistant in the Schwarzenegger household for more than 20 years, has kept a low profile with son Joseph since news of the scandal broke in 2011.
