Cafecito: Latin Jazz legend Jerry Gonzalez experiences a rebirth in Spain

On this episode of Cafecito, musical pioneer Jerry Gonzalez joins us to discuss growing up in the Bronx, his newfound fame in Europe, and the definition of Latin Jazz. As the leader of Jerry Gonzalez and the Fort Apache Band, his innovative style was instrumental in developing modern Latin music.  With his Grammy-nominated band, Jerry Gonzalez y el Comando de la Clave (Sunnyside, 2011), he continues to thrive today.
