Hispanic History Month: Latinos challenged segregation to play baseball

Baseball may be America’s pastime, but it also has a long legacy within the Hispanic community. The Latino Baseball History Project is underway and KNBC’s Jacob Rascon shares how this beloved sport has served as a catalyst for change.

Next, we should be outraged at the slavery/prisoner-demoralizing tactic the Northside Independent School District in San Antonio is implementing on young middle school and high school Hispanic students. They are all required to wear an electronic tracking device around their necks to ensure the administration knows where they are. ( The honor students are also required to wear this!) This means they are tracked when they go to the restroom and where they are seated at lunch, and even as far as detecting when they arrive at home. This is an invasion of privacy and a demoralizing act. Is anyone else outraged?
