On this episode of Cafecito, we are honored to host one of our greats, Miriam Colon, whose expansive career has included more than a half century of film, television and theatre. A pioneer who paved the way for Latina actresses of today, Colon joined us to discuss her new part as a curandera in her latest film, “Bless Me Ultima,” and her role as artistic director of the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre.
Each week we will have a lively, candid conversation with prominent Latinos who shape our community – artists, politicians, actors, achievers and thinkers. Set at the legendary Nuyorican Poets Café in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, we will have a relaxed conversation over a cafecito about their personal and professional lives as Latinos in America.
