At Miami’s Art Basel, artists transform the streets into artwork

From December 6th – 9th, the Wynwood district of Miami becomes a living gallery as street artists from around the world come to breathe life into the walls of a neighborhood that is undergoing a rapid transformation to an art and design mecca.

Living Walls, a non-profit founded by Peruvian Monica Campana, aims to bring dialogue through street art to neighborhoods in their home city of Atlanta, Georgia. However, during the long weekend of Miami Art Basel, Living Walls makes the drive south to Miami to participate in the street art fair, Fountain.

Fountain Art Fair runs through this Sunday, December 9th. For hours and ticket prices, visit http://www.fountainartfair.com/. For more information about Living Walls, visit http://livingwallsconference.com/.
