Just hours after Mexican-American banda singer Jenni Rivera gave a performance in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the plane carrying the 43-year-old singer and members of her entourage – including her publicist and attorney – was reported missing during the early hours on Sunday. Mexican Transportation and Communications Minister Gerardo Ruiz Esparza confirmed that the wreckage of the private jet carrying Rivera was found near the takeoff site, delivering the somber news of the star’s passing to the Long Beach, CA native’s family and fans around the world.
