Cafecito: Junot Diaz on finding your voice

On this episode of Cafecito, we are joined by proud Dominican author and recipient of the 2012 MacArthur Foundation Genius Award, Junot Diaz. The first Latino to sit on the Pulitzer Prize board of jurors discusses his first inspiration as a young boy, his latest book, and navigating through different worlds to find your dream.

Each week we will have a lively, candid conversation with prominent Latinos who shape our community – artists, politicians, actors, achievers and thinkers. Set at the legendary Nuyorican Poets Café in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, we will have a relaxed conversation over a cafecito about their personal and professional lives as Latinos in America.
