Sofia Vergara may have been recently nominated for Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards, but her younger sister Sandra is gearing up to make a splash of her own on the small screen with the news that she will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of “CSI.”
Vergara – who is 24 years old – will be starring in a Feb. 13 episode of the CBS show in the role of a Latina singer named Silvana who makes her U.S. debut just as her sister Marta is murdered, reports TV Line. And adding drama to the plot? When Marta’s killer eyes Silvana as his next victim, the pop star is forced to examine her inner circle and investigate who among her friends may actually be the killer.
Although Sofia, 40, may be the bigger star, Sandra – who is her biological cousin and was adopted by the Vergara family as a child – is no stranger to the entertainment world. According to TV Line, she’s appeared on episodes of “CSI: Miami” and “Nip/Tuck,” and also starred in the Peruvian telenovela “Chico de mi Barrio.”
