All eyes are on the couple that seemed to have been through it all: Kobe and Vanessa Bryant. The pair was all smiles at the Warner Bros. Golden Globes after party Sunday evening, looking happy as they posed for cameras.
The photos surfaced just days after Vanessa posted a message announcing a reconciliation between the couple.
“We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled,” wrote Vanessa on her Instagram account Friday. Out divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together.”
Kobe confirmed the news via social media as well, writing the following post on Facebook.
“I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family. When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers!”
The news comes one year after Vanessa filed for divorce from NBA star Kobe, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. The pair had been married for more than ten years and since the split, had ignited on-again, off-again rumors as they were spotted together on various occasions, and even photographed kissing after a Lakers basketball game on Valentine’s Day 2012.
However, the couple is officially back on for good, telling “omg! Insider’s” Kevin Frazier in a joint statement that “Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together.”
The couple – who met while Vanessa was still in high school – have two daughters: Natalia, 9, and Gianna, 6.
The Bryants’ first made headlines in 2003 when Kobe admitted to infidelity and was charged with sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman. The 34-year-old basketball star went on record stating that he thought the sexual encounter was mutual and the woman involved later dropped all charges.
And by his side? Wife Vanessa, who said her husband was only guilty of “the mistake of adultery.”
