FARC rebels are urging the Colombian government to legalize coca and marijuana crops as part of peace talks. They said the plants would be used for therapeutic and medicinal reasons. A convicted Dirty War doctor in Argentina violated his house arrest yesterday and was sent back to prison. He was part of a group that delivered and stole babies from leftist mothers in the early eighties. Workers at the Pemex building in Mexico City returned to work for the first time after a deadly blast killed 37 of their colleagues.  The explosion was caused by a gas leak. Colombian singer Juanes gave a sneak preview concert of his upcoming Grammy performance. The Latin singer is only the second artist asked to perform a Spanish language song at the awards show.
