Jenni Rivera’s fans can now look forward to a few more hours remembering the late singer when the brand new season of “I Love Jenni” airs in early April. The new episodes will feature unseen footage from the days before her private jet crashed in Monterrey, Mexico.
Season Three will also follow her sister Rosie and her children, Chiquis, Jacqui, Michael, Jenicka and Johnny, as they learn to cope with the loss of their mother.
As part of the premiere, mun2 will air a new one-hour special called “We Love Jenni,” honoring the life of “La Diva de la Banda.” Many of the 43-year-old’s closest friends and family members including Thalia, Snoop Lion, Mario Lopez, Carson Daly, Diana Reyes and Mexican superstars Tucanes de Tijuana will recount their most precious memories of Jenni.
Shortly before she passed away, the Mexican-American icon entrusted the care of her children and her multi-million dollar business venture Jenni Enterprises to her sister Rosie.
She was laid to rest in the All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, California after a memorial described by her family as “celestial.”
The first episode of Season Three airs April 14 at 9p.m. on Mun2, and will be streamed the day after on mun2.tv.
