Judges in Brazil ruled today that Apple does not have exclusive rights to the use the “iPhone” trademark in the country. A local company registered the name seven years before Apple did.  The body of an indigenous woman who traveled Europe in a circus as the “world’s ugliest woman,”  was returned to Mexico and buried after 153 years.  She suffered from a genetic condition that causes hair growth on the face. Peruvian archaeologists have discovered a five thousand-year old temple at an ancient site near the capital. They say the temple was used to burn ceremonial offerings.  The Gay Costume Ball in Rio marks the end of Carnival festivities.  The massive party was originally for the lesbian and gay community but has recently become a main Carnival event.
