Christina Aguilera has a one-of-a-kind voice and it looks like her individuality extended to interior design, with a unique pink and purple home that has just been reportedly sold for a whopping $13.5 million.
Aguilera had settled into the 11,000 square foot mansion with then-hubby Jordan Bratman and after their split in 2010, placed the five-bedroom home on the market. Only now, three years later, has the home sold for its asking price, reports Radar Online.
Aguilera’s Beverly Hills mansion was decorated in a palate of pink, purple and black complete with velvets, floral wall paper and plenty of zebra print after she purchased the home for $11.5 million from Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne in 2008.
The 32-year-old offered In Style a tour of the home in 2009, telling the magazine that the mansion – with its gothic touches, pieces of eclectic graffiti artwork and selection of Asian-inspired furniture – was deliberately decorated to her specific taste.
“I wanted every space to have its own personality,” said Aguilera of the home’s unique decor.
The singer has been all about new beginnings lately: She left her gig as a coach on the NBC singing competition show “The Voice” last year and with the November release of her seventh studio album, “Lotus,” has entered a new musical phase.
“It’s my labor of love, I give my entire heart and soul in every record that I do. I am very detail oriented and I am quite the perfectionist and I am hard on myself,” Aguilera told Hollywood Life about the record.
“I want to make the best product and express to my fans and to motivate them to be unbreakable flowers themselves, which is what Lotus stands for and represents!”
