“Watergate” has gone international.
Florida Senator Marco Rubio met with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, who made sure to let the senator know his leftward lurch for a tiny bottle of Poland Spring on national television during the GOP response to the State of the Union address was common knowledge internationally.

Netanyahu bumped water bottles with Rubio as he laughed and posed for pictures. Rubio told Netanyahu, “You live in a challenging neighborhood, but the Israeli-American relationship is one of the most important ones we have, and certainly our commitment to that partnership is bipartisan and it should remain that way.”
Rubio has turned his awkward water moment into a financial opportunity – raising more than $125,000 by selling thousands of Rubio water bottles through his Reclaim America PAC in just one week.

Rubio is on a week-long trip for the Senate Intelligence Committee and Foreign Relations Committee, which also includes a trip to Jordan as he seeks to learn more about the Syrian civil war and the Israel-Palestinian peace process.
