Fans of Louis C.K. can’t get enough of his off-beat humor, and the countdown to the Mexican-American star’s newest special has begun with HBO’s announcement that the network will air an hour-long standup routine from the comedian on Sunday, April 13 at 10:00pm ET.
The hour-long show, titled “Louis C.K.: Oh My God” is HBO’s second special from the comedian.
His last special, “Shameless,” aired on the cable network in 2007.
According to Deadline, C.K. will break out the funny during the special on topics ranging from “the food chain, animals, divorce, strange anecdotes, broken morality, murder and mortality.”
C.K. has been more popular than ever, following two Emmy Award wins in 2012 and the distinction of being dubbed “The World’s Second Best Comedian” by British funny guy Ricky Gervais. He hosted “Saturday Night Live” last fall and has been cast in “Blue Jasmine,” a Woody-Allen-directed drama expected to hit theaters later this year.
