Holy Week recipes: Latin sweets

Lent is coming to an end, meaning for many, a return to sweet desserts given up in observance of the 46 days leading up to Easter Sunday. That’s right: if you abstained from desserts during what many Catholics consider the holiest time of year, it’s time to indulge and end your Easter dinner on a sweet note. From an impressive cake layered with fragrant guava jelly and thickly spread with cream cheese frosting, to creamy, indulgent flan and luscious tres leches cake, here are three deliciously satisfying desserts to break your Lenten fast.
