What parents should know about children and food allergies

With children heading back to school, parents have to be ready for food allergies. A recent CDC study revealed that food allergies increased in children under 18 years from 1997 to 2011, affecting five percent of children under the age of 5 years old. NBC Latino’s Dr. Joe Sirven has some tips that every family should know about children and food allergies.
