Are electronic cigarettes dangerous? Here’s what you should know

The use of electronic cigarettes has increased among U.S. adult current and former smokers as well as high school students.  The 2011-12 National Youth Tobacco Survey, a survey of US teen students, found that the use of e-cigarettes has doubled in one year resulting in almost 10 percent of all students having used e-cigarettes as of 2012. NBC Latino’s Dr. Joseph Sirven tells you what to know about electronic cigarettes.
