It’s official! Eva Longoria dating “Ready for Love” contestant Ernesto Arguello

Eva Longoria’s reality dating show “Ready for Love” may have been pulled from the air but it looks like it was a personal success with the news that the Latinastar is dating show contestant Ernesto Arguello.

Longoria has been divorced twice, and since splitting from NBA baller Tony Parker in 2010 has dated high-profile men including Penelope Cruz sibling Eduardo Cruz and NFL athlete Mark Sanchez.  She is now  officially dating Arguello, one of three bachelors whose quest to find love was the subject of a new dating show on NBC.

“Ready for Love” – executive produced by Longoria – debuted to poor ratings in April and was pulled from the air just weeks later, though all remaining episodes aired online.

Arguello, 38, is an entrepreneur and philanthropist based in Miami. Rumors about the twosome first began when photos surfaced in late April of Arguello and Longoria spending time together, dining and driving together in Los Angeles.

“WHAT?! AGAIN? Sorry guys, still not dating Ernesto Arguello,” the 38-year-old Longoria tweeted on April 22. “Who are these ‘sources?’”

And it looks like while the two did meet on the show, Longoria confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair only recently became romantically involved when Arguello’s relationship with Miss USA Shandi  Finessey ended in 2012.

Arguello – of Honduran-Cuban descent – told NBC Latino’s Nina Terrero that prior to the show, he had not found success finding love.

“I’ve been looking everywhere – literally anywhere and everywhere!” Arguello shared with NBC Latino about his dating style. At the time of the interview in early April, Arguello told NBC Latino that he had been dating someone from the show but refused to reveal who.

“I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn’t see!” Longoria told PEOPLE.

And things seem to be moving forward quickly. Longoria told PEOPLE that she had recently returned home to Los Angeles after a trip to Nicaragua where she was introduced to Arguello’s entire family. The two also exchanged affectionate messages on Twitter, with Arguello tweeting “I LOVE YOU” in response to Longoria’s message “Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier.”
